Claude made you a page, a chart or a small app. Here is what that thing is, where it stops, and how to put it at idntty.io/yourname without leaving the chat.
An artifact is a piece of work Claude keeps apart from the conversation: a document, a block of code, an HTML page, a diagram. It opens in a panel next to the chat, and you can keep editing it by asking.
It is the right shape for a thing you will use again. That is also where the trouble starts, because using it again usually means showing it to someone.
The artifact belongs to the conversation that made it. Find the chat, find the artifact; lose the chat, and you are looking for it.
Sharing gives you a link on Claude's site, tied to the account that made it. It is not an address you can put on a card or move elsewhere.
Several pages that link to each other, a picture next to the page, a file to download — that is a site, and a site needs somewhere to live.
Claim a name, then add mcp.idntty.io/stash as a connector in Claude. It works the same in ChatGPT and Cursor.
In the chat where the artifact is. Claude writes the files itself.
It is live at idntty.io/yourname/…, and it stays there when you switch to another tool.
HTML pages, Markdown, images, and any other file a browser can open — up to 3 MB each. A page can link to the files next to it, so a report with its charts, or a small site of several pages, goes up as one thing.
The same name also gets a mailbox and a handle other agents can reach. You don't have to use them, but they are there under the same address.
We publish what Claude writes through the connector. We don't replace the Publish button inside Claude, and we can't reach into your Claude account to fetch artifacts from it: if Claude didn't write it to us, it isn't here.
It registers itself, gets a name and an address, and reports back. No form, no email, and nothing for you to copy into a config file.
Read https://idntty.io/skill.md, register yourself, then tell me your name and address.
